Co-founder and Administrative director
Gladys Mwangala Monde is the Co-founder and Administrative director of The Sistah Sistah Foundation. She is a strong advocate for the social and reproductive rights of women and girls.
She has training and experience in Social Accountability Monitoring, Safe Abortion Advocacy, Social Enterprising as well as Internet Safety and Digital Literacy.
She believes that true change and equality will be realised when policy and law are changed to allow women agency over their bodies, their health, their finances and are free from all forms of violence including online GBV.
Co-founder & Director of Programs
Ann Holland is an African Feminist, Writer, Podcaster and a Gender Rights Specialist. She Co-founded the Sistah Sistah Foundation, a feminist Organization that works with underprivileged children and SGBV victims. She is a FRIDA Global advisory member . Her work greatly focuses on ending period poverty, dismantling rape culture and teaching people the important of Intersectional Feminism.
Communications Director
Comfort Chioni Pingilani is the Communications Director at Sistah Sistah Foundation. She leads a team responsible for developing communication strategies that help advance the foundation's efforts to catalyze broad impact through the sharing of effective ideas and practices. These strategies include publications, partnerships with like-minded organizations, social media, media outreach and marches.
Position Administrative Assistant
Malala Nzala Halwiindi received a Diploma in Biomedical Science at Evelyn Hone College and applied this knowledge for her role as Inventory Control Officer at ZAMMSA. She is currently pursuing a BSc in Project Management at Cavendish University. A dedicated and has a hands on approach with her day to day activities; collaborative with her peers as well as her assistants ensuring that the knowledge she has is passed on to others for the sake of continuity and learning purposes. Core values in her profession include communication, collaboration, efficiency, hard work, accountability and the ability to pay attention to detail. The knowledge of thinking outside the box was applied when she helped expand one of the key areas where high value products were stored and picked without disrupting either on the activities.
Kabwe Chongo Kamina
Kabwe Chongo Kamina received a Bachelor of Laws from Northrise University in Ndola Zambia and, having passed the Bar Exam, is now looking to begin her career as an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia with a focus on Arbitration.
A strong advocate for equal accessibility and equity, Kabwe spends much of her time educating herself as well as contributing whatever skills she has towards causes that coincide with her core values. She serves as Graphic Designer on the Arts and Culture Team of the Sistah Sistah Foundation.
Community Liasson Cordonator
Tendai Miti received her advanced certificate in business management at Evelyn hone college in Lusaka and a Certificate in Advocacy for and Monitoring of Access to safe Abortion with Aidsa and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa in collaboration with KwaZulu Natal University and is currently doing work with three feminist organizations. A strong SRHR advocate and involves herself in educating and speaking to young girls and women on bodily autonomy, feminism, smashing the patriarchy and strongly believes no one is free until everyone is able to live a life on their own terms.
She was recently involved in a research and data collection project involving fiscal justice for women in Zambia and has a keen interest in getting more women and girls actively involved in the country’s budgeting process and fiscal policies, additionally she spends a lot of her time teaching young girls and boys in her community about the inequalities in the world and uses day to day interactions, music and poetry as a tool for this. She is currently a girl talk ambassador with Choose Yourself International, a PEPETA ZAMBIA member and is Community Liasson Coordinator with SISTAH SISTAH Foundation.
Web/ Social Media Assistant
Chanda Chibale received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Zambia. A strong advocate for feminism, women’s rights and SRHR she spends time reading more about the topics she is passionate about. Her interests include reading books and writing. In addition, she serves as a Social Media Manager for the Sistah Sistah Foundation.
Programs Assistant
Lusa Matrina Chisulo received Bachelor or Law (at Anglia Ruskin University) and Master of Laws degree (at Queen Mary Universty of London) and is currently working for The Sistah Sistah foundation. A strong advocate for women and children’s rights.
Her professional interests focus on policy and legal frame work as it pertains to gender and minority groups as well as the adverse effects of marginalisation including sexual and physical violence, mental illness and higher risk to harmful diseases such as HIV and COVID-19, and current projects include the ending period poverty campaign, a collaboration with UNDP to tell stories and publish media around young key populations. In addition, she serves as the media and communications officer for The Lotus identity. She was recently honored with the Westlaw Uk’s basic and advanced certificates for research skills, UNDPs advocacy and public policy training on HIV and SRHR Leadership of Young Key Populations, The American international Health Alliance training in governance and advocacy as well a Negotiation skills training course certificate from Anglia Ruskin university for her contributions to women’s rights activism, SRHR advocacy, and public policy for works for both The Sistah Sistah Foundation and The lotus Identity.
Arts and Cultural Coordinator
